whiter armpit

i know people said that we did not have 'mat saleh' armpit or simply we called our armpit is ketiak melayu (malay's armpit). yeah malay do have their own colour of skin but most of them have drker armpit. Malaysia is a very hot and sweaty country or 'panas sgt malaysia ni'(that is what my friend said) so we malaysian always sweating and it can contribute to darker armpit because the armpit is rubbing againts each other.

shaving and plucking also can make ur armpit darker.Every time you shave or pluck, you cause the damage of skin. When healed, these wounds cause darkening. You may not be aware of these, but you can easily confirm it by putting alcohol on your underarms after you pluck or shave. It's going to be very painful because of the damage. Shaving and plucking can also cause armpit hair to stand straight up and enlarge hair holes, making your armpit take on the appearance of chicken skin.

Waxing can also cause trauma to the skin, because ur skin might be burn after the waxing.

Some deodorants also cause an allergy and irritate your skin which results to dark armpits. but most malaysian did not know about this.

Extra weight also can darkens some areas of the body, including the back of ur neck, underarms, and back of the knees.

what i do is;

1. Mix 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon honey. Apply mixture to the armpits. Let it stay for about 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Do this before taking a bath. You may also pat on some powdered alum afterward.alum is actually salt/baking soda or potassium aluminium sulphate

2. this is what my grandmother method. when bathing u rub ur armpit with your knee. (its hard for me to see the results)

3. use coconut oil when washing your armpit.

4. rub armpit with pumice stone( i dont like this one)

my advices are;

1. do not shave ur armpit at all.plucking is better.
2. do not wear clothes that are too tight.
3. use hair removal cream not waxing ur armpit. (but hair removal cream also can make ur armpit getting darker)
4. use alum powder/clear deodorant/spray deodorant/anti-fungi deodorant for your deodorants.
